Import ODBC Point Data

This screen is shown as part of the ODBC data import process, and can be used to define key point data fields, and filter incoming data.

Activity steps

  1. Coordinate fields are automatically detected and mapped, if possible. You can also set X, Y and Z to any numeric attribute.

  2. Choose the Data Fields to import. Select as many fields as you need to import. Default: All unchecked.

  3. To see the SQL query representing import instructions, check SQL Query view the SQL statement.

  4. Click OK.

  5. If importing a file to a Studio project, the Import Files screen displays.

  6. Use the Import Files screen:

    1. Choose which Files to create and associate with your project.

    2. Confirm the Import Fields for this operation.

    3. If required, choose how to Rename Fields during import.

    4. Click OK.

      Files references are added to the project.
